Bamse (the strongest and kindest bear in the world) is one of Sweden’s most iconic and beloved characters. For more than 50 years, generation after generation of children has grown up with Bamse through storybooks and magazines.
Since 2013, we have partnered with Nordisk Film to bring Bamse to the big screen, helping the brand stay relevant and engaging for each new generation with a new animated feature film every other year.
Over the years, we have worked with Bamse across a wide range of marketing and communication projects, from brand development and campaigns to film launches, advertising, social media, games, events and retail.

Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH)
To bring Bamse even closer to the target audience, we created playful activations that invited children to become part of the experience.
For OOH, we transformed the campaign into a large-scale physical game, where players competed by pushing water through the installation – turning advertising into something to play with, not just look at.
We also created an online game featuring Bamse and his friends, extending the experience into the digital world and giving the audience another way to engage with the characters beyond the cinema screen

With “Bamse and the City of Thieves” as the first film, our collaboration with Nordisk Film began with creative concepts and visual development for the theatrical launch. The film became a success, and since then we have worked on every Bamse cinema release.
